Digital caricatures at last

Finally, I get to combine my drawing skills with my computer wizardry to produce digital caricatures in colour. Clocking in at 7 or 8 caricature per hour, it's not as fast as my drawings on paper. But I think there is a lot more potential for entertainment, especially at corporate events and trade shows, where I can plug into a large monitor display and hand over print-outs or send to email addresses.

Caricatures in Sofiatown

These pics are from a Sofiatown themed end-of-year party in a fitting venue - Katy's Palace Bar in Johannesburg. The drawings got displayed on the windows. I wish I'd taken more pics of the guests with their magnificent outfits. The music was also spot on.

Wedding Art in Nylstroom

I drove out for a lekker jol in Modimolle at Jonathan and Charlene's wedding. I was a bit more wicked than usual but I'm still proud of these drawings.

Conference Caricatures for Engen

I drove out to Sun City for a day of drawing at Engen's conference. The guests took their caricature  home in a branded folder.  It worked well having me in a busy corridor, the queue kept on coming.
